Position: Account Executive

General Summary

As an Account Executive at Accrualify, you get the opportunity to work with prospective clients across the globe. You will be part of an ambitious yet humble team who enjoy learning and working together to help everyone reach maximum sales goals. This position will be responsible for sourcing new leads via all effective channels, modifying sales materials, directly interfacing with prospects, providing live and video demos of our products, nurturing opportunities from initial discovery to closed won, and participating in all aspects of the company’s Sales efforts. This position requires determination and a no-quit attitude. Having enterprise sales, customer success, or accounting experience in a SAAS based company is preferred. A Bachelor’s degree is required. In an environment of reduced supervision, the Account Executive will exercise independent discretion and judgment in nurturing a solid pipeline of opportunities. This position will work with other members of the sales and operations team in creating sales presentations, identifying key accounts to target, working with SDRs to develop outbound sequences, and exceeding quotas. This position will be responsible for inside and outside sales efforts.

Knowledge/Skills
1. A no-quit attitude. You will work with very knowledgeable accounting managers and executives who have been in the industry for many years. You will fail at times, and this needs to motivate you succeed.
2. Consultative experience. You’ve worked with clients and team members providing best practices, support, knowledge sharing, and training.
3. Effective written and verbal communication skills are necessary to present relevant information to prospects.
4. Strong personal computer skills and familiarity with various sales software tools (Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google Drive, etc.).
5. Strong interpersonal and partnering skills to develop working relationships with partners across operating business and support functions.
6. Demonstrated ability to drive change and improve processes.
7. Self motivator and ambition is highly desirable. You don’t need anyone to tell you how to be your best every single day.
8. Knowledge of CRM and Enterprise SAAS sales desired.
9. Strong organization skills. You will need to manage your time efficiently and present information in an easily-consumable way.
10. Excellent listening skills. You need to be able to listen attentively to a prospect’s pain points, comments, and questions and then address each point thoroughly.

Essential Functions and Duties:
• Qualify leads, nurture opportunities, and close deals.
• Take a consultative sales approach to solving prospective client’s pain points.
• Work with SDRs to develop outbound sequences to ensure a consistent flow of sales qualified leads.
• Build and manage a pipeline of new deals for Accrualify using Salesforce.
• Manage and create a wonderful environment and experience for new prospects from lead to close.
• Become an expert in the Accrualify software and spend management process.
• Meet key performance indicators to ensure optimal sales efficiency.
• Use and develop communication skills to communicate project findings, conclusions and recommendations with your peers and clients.
• Participate in new business development as needed in partnership with other team members.

Qualifications
• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2-5+ years of professional sales, customer success, or accounting experience.
• Awareness of business trends (exposure to high tech, bio-tech, etc.).
• Strong creative and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and team working skills.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to learn quickly and resourcefully.
• High degree of motivation, flexibility and creativity (must be hungry for growth)
• Genuine desire to work hard and progress rapidly in the tech sales profession.
• Positive attitude and strong willingness to learn from mentors and peers.
